We'll be lead by:

Rushita Vora, who graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master of Building Science and a Certificate in Sustainable Design. She also has a degree in Architecture and is a WELL AP and a LEED Green Associate. Rushita's interests include wood design and construction, life cycle analysis, embodied carbon and energy modeling of materials and buildings.

Rahul Shendure, who brings more than 20 years of leadership experience with pioneering climate- and bio-tech companies to his role as CEO of CarbonBuilt. CarbonBuilt’s core technology emerged out of the Samueli School of Engineering and Institute for Carbon Management at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Led by Gaurav Sant, the UCLA team conceptualized the potential to address climate change by embedding industrial CO₂ emissions in the production of concrete in an economically viable fashion.
